This is my dream job. Head chef at a mountain resort. Sure, it’s a resort for a very specific group of patrons. I belong to Surrender, so I know the owners and I’m familiar with the lifestyle. I’m not little myself. Or at least, I don’t think so. And then I meet Foster, and he makes me doubt everything I know to be true.

Brea: I’m finally free from the constraints of my large family. I have a great job at the most amazing resort. I’m finding myself and I’m learning so much from the other employees. I’ve never known about this lifestyle before, but I think I’m Little. And the man who has come to work on the basement might be my Daddy. But his lifestyle is so different from mine. I could never fit into his world.

Stella: For the first time in my life, I’m dating a man who rocks my world. He gives me exactly what I need at the club. And he’s amazing in bed. The only problem is, this can’t last. We’re too different. He’s a Daddy. I’m not a Little. Walker: For three months, I’ve been dating the perfect woman. I know she thinks we’re not compatible, but she’s wrong. It’s just that she hasn’t realized it. At some point, I’m going to have to tell her. I know she’ll panic, but she’s got a Little side. She can’t see it yet, but she’s mine. Forever.

Juliet: For three years, I’ve been relying on Aldric. After my parents died, he swooped in to take care of me. It’s not fair to him. I’m a ballerina, but only in private. I’m also a Little…but only in private. My fantasy of Aldric being the Daddy I crave is just that, a fantasy. Aldric: With our age difference, I know we have an unconventional relationship. There’s no place I’d rather be than with Juliet. She’s my Little, even if she doesn’t realize it. I take care of everything for her while she grieves. If this is all I ever get with Juliet, I will take it.

I’m a well-known masochist. I’ve been a member of Surrender for two years. Someone unknown sponsors me. I can barely make ends meet, and I’ve just lost yet another job. When Kendric discovers me living in my car, he takes me home.

I’m deeply little in my heart. But no one outside surrender can ever know. In my real life, I have a reputation to uphold.
