book1, interesting shifter saga
Good for a free book.
This is an interesting start to a saga that includes, shifters, Evil witches, bad magic, reverse harem and violence.
narration not terrible but Chris reads very slow and and Stephanie reads faster and abit robotic. both narrators get the inflections wrong...
looking forward to continuing the story in book 2.

Very good slow burn
the female narrator was excellent. there were far more chapters in the female perspective than I normally like but she was very good and the story moved well. I'm diving straight into the next book.

With a twist
I enjoyed the concept of this story and I look forward to the next one. There should be a trigger warning with this one though. There’s a lot of parental abuse, yet it works with the story. I enjoyed the book.

Question
As I listened to this i wondered what age range the author was going for. Was a bit like Twilight with young people going to high school but other parts were very adult where the characters acted a lot older.
