Not sure
I usually love Meghan's books and i was looking forward to this one but....
I would have to say i was worried while listening to this that i thought Meghan may have lost her touch. The great thing about her books is that the storyline is strong and the physical has great context. She normally does not have to pannder to cheaper versions of "50 shades of grey". I did worry at times this book was aiming for that and i did think of giving up at times. Lachlan seemed like he could have the most depth out of all her characters but now i'm not sure. Book one ends with a cliffhanger which has drawn me back in but until this point i just felt a little let down. Meghan is more than cheap toys and predictability.....hope the next book proves it!

Wow
How exciting was this. Loved how he had a debt over her so that he could have her close to him. How she defies him at every turn, a truly great read look forward to the next one.

Could have been better
Shame about the female reader, she wasn’t that great at all. The book would have been so much better with a different female vocal.

Be aware- this story is only part one of the story
I am disappointed that this book does not conclude the story as is usual with other trilogies. So be aware if you want to finish the story you have to buy more books. 😕
I found this book slow to start, however the story did end up reeling me in.
Now that I know I’ve got to purchase another book to finish the story, I cannot decide if I should bring I will need to purchase TWO more books!!

Pornography in print
I did not finish reading this book. I am appalled at the language and much of the content. Would not recommend it.
