    MY WHY:

    I have always loved working in the food industry, server, bartender, and restaurant business. Growing up on a large farm in the Midwest has given me inspiration to help others learn how to eat wisely and how to spend money sensibly on food. Currently I have a full time job working with children and a busy schedule.
    I enjoy doing this on the side, to help anyone find an ease in cooking.

    This week we are making Brunch Quiche 🍳 This is one of our favorite go-to brunch foods!! Best of all it only takes minutes to make!!

    Here's the recipe incorporating the ingredients & instructions:

    Ingredients:
    - 6 eggs (or egg whites) or more if you’d like

    - Tortilla Wraps, 3 or so (That should make 12)
    - 1 diced onion - small

    - 3 small potatoes

    -1 bunch of thyme, cilantro, rosemary whatever you like

    -1 small stalk of broccoli tops diced up

    - Cheese, whatever you like
    - I used pepperoni, you can add diced ham or any meat OR no meat!

    -Salt/Pepper (pink himalayan salt is what I use)

    - Any form of muffin pan

    Instructions:

    1. Cut your wraps into 4 triangles

    2. Place one into each muffin spot

    3. Add meat, broccoli, seasonings and an egg I did 1:3

    4. Add a sprinkle of salt, pepper, and add cheese on top

    5. Bake at 350 for 10-15 minutes

    6. Remove from oven and Devour SO DELICIOUS & so so simple 🙂

    This week we are making Salmon Sandwiches 🍣You don’t have to turn on a stove for this one!! This is one of our favorite go-to dinners!! Best of all it only takes minutes to make!!

    Here's the recipe incorporating the ingredients & instructions:

    Ingredients:
    - 1 can of salmon

    - Bacon slices
    - 1 diced onion - small

    - ½ lemon

    -1 bunch of cilantro
    - shredded parmesan cheese

    -1 large spoonful of mayo and small spoon for mustard

    - Diced pickle if you choose, sweet or dill
    - Minced Garlic or Dried

    - 2 or 3 Hard boiled eggs diced up

    -Salt/Pepper (pink himalayan salt is what I use)

    - Your favorite bread, crackers, pitas

    Instructions:

    1. Get your bacon prepped : use crumbles or bits

    2. Mix your mayo and mustard up with the cilantro, pickles, eggs, and onions

    3. Squeeze all the lemon juice into that mix

    4. Add a sprinkle of salt, pepper, and shredded parmesan

    5. Mix the salmon into the mix last with small spoonfuls at a time

    6. Spread the delicious mix onto your choice of bread top it with some bacon and devour

    SO DELICIOUS & so so simple 🙂

    This week we are making Meatballs with a Twist 🍝 Paper Egg Cartons??!!
    They are everywhere and we just throw them away or use them to plant starter seeds in the springtime right!! Spaghetti & Meatballs or Swedish Meatballs..... the healthy way!

    You can use your marinara sauce that we made previously!! This is one of our favorite go-to dinners!! Best of all it only takes minutes to make!!

    Here's the recipe incorporating the ingredients & instructions:

    Ingredients:
    - 1-2 paper egg cartons.
    - 1-2 lbs of raw burger (or turkey)

    - 2 eggs (holds meat together and firms it up while cooking)

    - Cheese (any kind you like, shredded)

    -Bread Crumbs (¼ cup) or Crushed Crackers (holds meat together and firms it up while cooking)

    -Salt/Pepper (pink himalayan salt is what I use)

    -Diced or Dried Onion, Green Onion, Garlic Powder, Italian Seasoning

    Instructions:

    1. Mix all the ingredients (not the marinara) in a large mixing bowl

    2. Once mixed, roll your meatballs into a nice circle that will fit into the egg carton pod

    3. Bake (in egg carton), temperature set to 375- 400 for 15-20 minutes (160 internal)

    4. Pull out the cartons and remove the meatballs onto a plate add to your meal

    5. Most of all, you will be amazed at how the carton pulls the grease from the meat 👏🏼👏🏼

    4. SO DELICIOUS!! 🙂

    Here's the recipe incorporating the ingredients & instructions:

    Ingredients:
    - 1-2 loaves of french bread, I like the $1 ones you can find, best price and work great.
    - 1 can of refried beans (if you are making taco pizza) add crunched up chips after baking

    -1 jar of pesto (or fresh) if you are making mediterranean pizza

    -1 homemade alfrado sauce (or jar) if you are making a white sauce pizza

    - Meats (chicken, pepperoni, sausage, ham, salami, bacon, burger)

    - Veggies (basil, onions, mushrooms, bell peppers, jalapenos, banana peppers)

    - Fruit (tomatoes, pineapple, olives)

    - Cheese (any kind you like, shredded)

    -Salt/Pepper (pink himalayan salt is what I use)

    - Olive Oil (just a swirl)

    Instructions:

    1. Slice your french loaf down the center with a bread knife (the long way) to open it up.

    2. Now if you have 2 loaves, you have 4 different types of pizza you can make!!

    3. Put your red, white sauce or beans on the bottom, add a small amount of cheese, then the toppings, then more cheese.

    4. Add a sprinkle of salt, pepper, and top off with some olive oil if you'd like

    4. Bake in the oven or the airfryer (I have to cut my loaves down to fit into my air fryer) for 8-10 minutes at 350.

    SO DELICIOUS!! The best crust you have ever had and so so simple 🙂

    This week we are making homemade pasta sauce 🍝
    You can make it a marinara sauce as well!!
    Our favorite versatile sauce!! Best of all it only takes minutes to make!!

    Here's the recipe incorporating the ingredients & instructions:

    Ingredients:
    - 4 tomatoes (roma is best for less juice & chunky, larger if you want more juice & chunky)
    - ¼ diced onion (shallot, white, red, chives - your choice)
    - minced garlic (fresh or jar)

    -Oregano (fresh or dried few - more or less)

    - Parsley (fresh or dried - more or less)

    -Salt/Pepper (more or less) I choose Pink Himalayan Salt

    - Olive Oil (just a swirl)


    Instructions:

    1. Remove all the skin from the tomatoes (hot water bath until skin shows a crack/wrinkles).

    2. Mix everything up in a blender until the texture you prefer

    3. You can make a large batch to separate (ziplocks work fine) and freeze. No need to heat up then freeze, just put in your bags and seal tight then place in the freezer.

    Remember, cooking is all about personal taste, so feel free to adjust the ingredients and measurements to suit your preferences.

    This week we are making chicken legs 🍗 in the air fryer then shakin them up with your favorite sauce!! They are delicious and packed with flavor! Best of all it only takes minutes to make!!

    Here's a recipe incorporating the ingredients:

    Ingredients:
    - 1 large package of chicken legs
    - Sauces of your choice
    - 1-2 sticks of butter
    - Dry buttermilk (follow how to mix on the directions)

    Instructions:

    1. Remove all the skin (some might not pull of, cut them with the kitchen scissors.

    2. Rinse all those legs off well with warm water.

    3. Use a paper towel or flour sack towel to throughly dry each one.

    4. Add olive oil and buttermilk mix to the legs, this will keep them from drying out.

    5. Bake each set of legs for 10 min flip and cook another 10 (all fryers are different, some may only need 10 minutes, 5 on each side).

    6. Once the temp reaches (170-175) remove, put into the bowl with melter butter (1/2 stick) and sauce of your choice. Shake the legs up in that sauce and serve!

    7. Sides can be potatoes or steamed veggies.

    Remember, cooking is all about personal taste, so feel free to adjust the ingredients and measurements to suit your preferences.

    This week we are making tacos 🌮by using rotisserie chicken. They are delicious and packed with flavor! Best of all it only takes minutes to make!!

    Here's a recipe incorporating the ingredients:

    Ingredients:

    - 1 rotisserie chicken

    - 1 cup of Jalapenos (fresh or jar)

    - Taco Seasoning

    - 1 diced Onion

    - 1 can Green Chilis

    - Lettuce of your choice

    - Sliced Olives

    - Roma Tomato

    - Shredded Cheese (cheddar or pepper jack or a mix)

    - Sour Cream, Crumble Mexican Cheese (your choice of toppings)

    Instructions:

    1. In a bowl, have your shredded chicken pulled apart.

    2. Add your seasoning, mix that up

    3. Line your hard shell tacos up in a baking pan (I make my corn shell tacos on the stove then allow them to cool in the pan in the hard shell shape. You can mix the tow types up

    4. Dice up the onion, drain the chilis, dice tomato, drain olives, slice the jalapenos, shred lettuce (cabbage)

    5. Fill up each shell - meat, jalapenos, & chilis

    6. Bake with your air fryer or your oven for 10 minutes on 250

    7. Before serving, try a taco out for yourself, you may only have this one chance! So perfect!Enjoy your creation!

    This week we are making homemade 🍜 Phó with a twist. I call mine, Farm Girl Pho’. It is delicious and packed with flavor! Best of all it only takes minutes to make AFTER you have prepped the broth!!
    Sit back and relax, I have all the details right here for you! 🤓

    Here's a recipe incorporating the ingredients.

    Ingredients:

    - Small pack of Beef Ribs (more if you are making a large batch and they need to fit into your pressure cooker)

    - 1 cup of Jalapeños (fresh or jar)

    - Package of Rice Noodles

    - Salt and pepper, to taste (I always use pink himalayan salt) (sriracha)

    - Green Onions

    Instructions:

    1. In a stainless steel pressure cooker (countertop one).

    2. Add 1-2 cups of water (set on beef, add time to 4 hours)

    3. Add the whole pack of Beef Ribs

    4. Pressure Cook, 2 hours (need the bones to cook the marrow out)

    BREAK ~ follow the above instructions ~ NEXT DAY

    5. Slice your fresh Jalapeños & Green Onions & White Onion (Shallots)

    6. Boil your noodles (not mushy), drain rinse well and let cool

    7. Before serving, give the dish a final taste and adjust the seasonings (salt & pepper)

    if necessary.

    8. Serve. Best of all enjoy your delicious Phó

    Let it slow release (do not push release button). Kept the broth drippings.

    Toss the bones 🗑 (keep the beef). Set aside the broth, in a glass bowl, and chill overnight in the fridge.

    The next day: Remove the fat separated on the top (it should harden & be white) throw it away or save it for a later time if you want a healthy grease.

    Now slowly warm the broth back up in a stainless steel pot, add the beef, jalapeños, and noodles! So perfect!
