47. Feminine Archetypes Throughout the Menstrual Cycle with Megan Hayne

  • Summary

  • Are you showing up as the maiden or the prostitute? Throughout our cycle, we can show up as different feminine archetypes. The Maiden is the young girl in us who wants to take on the world and do everything she wants to do. The shadow side of this archetype is the prostitute, the girl who says yes to everything and gives up all her energy to others. Come explore the feminine archetypes with us in this podcast as we dive deep into our inner seasons with their archetypes and shadow sides.

Megan Hayne is a mother, womb holder, and village facilitator of menstrual sisterhood circles. She weaves mythology with our menstrual cycle to help us understand ourselves better through the feminine archetypes. Megan encourages us to be creative and create our own names for these archetypes as she has done.

    Today, we discuss:

    • What is an archetype and how archetypes relate to our cyclical nature

    • How Feminine archetypes show up as our inner seasons:

      • Spring is our Maiden phase

      • Summer is our Mother phase

      • Autumn is our Wild woman phase

      • Winter is our Oracle phase

    • How to ask for help when you are in need

    • How to work with the shadow sides of these archetypes and examples of how to move through the emotions that arise
