Cabo San Lucas looked to be a great getaway. Until bodies started falling off roofs. The Judge found himself caught amongst shifting loyalties as police and politicians scrambled to hide corruption reaching to the highest levels of Cabo society.

It was supposed to be a working vacation for the Judge, ensconced in a bungalow in Newport Beach with his new and very pregnant wife. But the FBI emerged from the morning’s mist along the Balboa Beach, asking a small favor. The favor detoured into a body, and the body led to questions nobody wanted to ask, a case nobody wanted to work. Dragging the Judge into a web of intrigue and stealth, leaving him to unravel a murder over FBI’s objections. A murder of one of their own.

Tom Powers got sober in early New York AA. He was a friend and confidant of Bill W and many pioneer era AAs. He shows by his own experience what alcoholism does to a person. A lot of his talk is about getting sober in AA; his experiences in AA. Tom founded All Addicts Anonymous to help people with complicated addictions and pioneered a recovery community (East Ridge).
