king of cosmic horror
Well narrated by all involved, and Lovecraft is always great. In a time where people are "cancelled" for their views I think it's important to reinforce the ability to like someone's work even if you don't agree with them

some narrators great, some bad
I LOVE the stories. I found about half the narrating to be spot on. the other half I struggled to listen to because of repetitive jarring emphasises and pauses.

A good selection of Lovecraft's stories
There are a few standout stories, but the archaic language can be difficult to get through at times, especially if the story doesn't engage you. It's easy to consume a single story in one sitting. The many narrators perform well, bringing life to each story's first person narration.

Lovecraft loves his adjectives a little too much. Performances highly variable.
Why use 1 adjective when you can use 6! That's Lovecraft's philosophy :-)
Nonetheless his stories are absolutely compelling.
The narrators are very variable. Some are fantastic. Some very average.

can be a bit "wordy" but really great story telling, good for long trips and to unwind with.

Fantastic
superbly horrific stories as only Lovecraft can deliver. the performances were brilliant and really helped lend the creepy and terrible air to the tales.

Great collection of H. P. Lovecraft's work!
Great collection of H. P. Lovecraft's work. It should really have an index so you can find a specific story, though.

All my life
I have known of HP Lovecraft all my reading life but never thought I would be interested in horror stories . Had read these stories myself at a younger age I dought I would have liked them as much . The narrator's are perfectly matched to the stories ,giving them the right amount of creepiness. I definitely be looking for more in this vain .Mr Lovecraft was way ahead of his time and can tell tales that stand the test of time.

dated
i think the really engaging thing about this is its impact on modern science fiction, supernatural and horror. the stories but current standards aren't all that entertaining but you can see methods of plot building, structure, storytelling and grounding that have developed into pivotal aspects of the genre in it's modern form.
