A tongue-in-cheek twist on the classic Dickens novel, Oliver Twist. Otway portrays Fagan as a vigilante saint-like character who sets out to save an evil Oliver from a life of overt criminality. Gifting Oliver a magic ring, Fagan’s subject gets the opportunity of helping society with its magic powers, or using and abusing it for his own purposes. Temptations are rife for the mischievous, menacing Oliver.

The bees in Bumblonia were doing quite nicely until Malicia, in her glass Wellington boots, became the Queen of the kingdom. One simple misunderstanding can change life dramatically if it involves little knowledge of nature’s role in everyday life. Being arrested and locked in a dark and dreary dungeon just for stinging a posh person on the bottom was certainly a bee’s worst nightmare! Surely just because bees are not mentioned in a good book, it doesn’t make them demons? If you tell people something enough times, they start to believe you! Even if yesterday they knew better.
