  • Summary

  • Hey there! I'm Mitch, a small-town girl Mama of 2 that found myself knee-deep in the overwhelm and loneliness of motherhood. The perfect mom I dreamed of being in reality was more like an unhappy Mom-ster. And why did I feel so lonely?

It took me a while to break out of the pattern, but when I did, I became a better Mom. My marriage began to thrive. I found that making friends wasn't so hard anymore and I felt inspired again.

I know that there is healing in sharing and I also know that if I felt this way, another Mama out there does, too. So I'm on a mission to help us push the Play button in our lives so we get back into living that full, dynamic woman that lives in all of us.

I'll be sharing fun stories, tips that helped me get relief in parenting, marriage, making friends and more. I also have a whole host of friends with how to's and inspiration to share because Mom may be the name you hear the most- it's not the only name that matters.

  • Feeling Stuck? Do This! Simple Steps for Breaking Patterns (Part 1)
    Nov 12 2024

    Send us a text

Hey there, action-takers! 💪 Today we're diving into something that hits home for all of us - getting unstuck and breaking those pesky patterns that hold us back.

    🎙️ Episode Overview

In this episode, we’re diving into the first two steps of my B.A.S.E. method to help you get unstuck and reclaim your energy! This topic hit home after I noticed one of my daughters experiencing a wave of panic over a math assessment. She normally breezes through her work, but test time brought on intense stress. She showed all the signs I’m covering today, and what's so cool is that we completely flipped it using these simple steps!

    What You’ll Learn:
    🌟 Step 1: Body
Everything starts with the body, our literal foundation for change! This isn’t about transforming how you look—it's about becoming aware of how you’re using your body and the messages it’s sending. If you’re feeling sluggish or low, take a look at your posture. Are you slouched, shoulders drooping, breathing shallowly? This physical state can keep you stuck in a low-energy mode. Learn how opening up your posture and getting some movement can boost oxygen to your brain and jumpstart fresh thinking! 🧘‍♀️💨

    🌟 Step 2: Attention
Next, we focus on where your attention is going. Our brains love to replay past troubles and pile them into the future, which makes us feel paralyzed by overthinking. Here’s the trick: are you serving up unhelpful thoughts for free? When you realize you’re giving your energy to these thoughts, it’s easier to shift to a more empowering mindset. I’ll even walk you through a quick exercise to help reframe your thoughts! 🧠✨

By the end, you’ll see how my daughter turned her fear of that “big test” into something she could manage and even look forward to. 🌈 Next week, we’ll cover the remaining parts of the B.A.S.E. method so you can do the same and feel empowered in every area of your life!

Tune in to learn practical steps for transforming your state and getting back to feeling in control!
    ⚡ Quick Action Step:
Check your posture right now - are you supporting or sabotaging your state?

Hey there, Mama! 🧡 Have you ever caught yourself giving your child (or hubby!) a whirlwind of instructions, only to feel frustrated when they can't keep up? If this sounds familiar, this episode is just for you.

So we're going there- how we sometimes expect others to operate at our pace, forgetting they might need a little more space and time to process. Oopsie!

We’ll dive into what happens when we unintentionally download our own mental lists on to others, leaving them feeling pressured, inadequate or just plain ready to ignore us when they don’t keep up with our pace.

    Here’s what we're hitting up:

Understanding Communication Patterns: How our "commands" can sometimes feel overwhelming—and why it's so important to be mindful of how we phrase our needs.

Planning Ahead to Avoid Last-Minute Chaos: Tips on getting a daily overview to make space for others to help, rather than scrambling at the last minute.

Navigating Different Paces in Marriage: It’s not just with kids! When our partner isn’t on the same page, it can create frustration. But what if it’s just a timing difference? Discover how to set each other up for success by asking the right questions instead of assuming the worst.

This episode is about becoming aware of our timing and expectations—and adjusting so everyone around us feels empowered, not overwhelmed. Let's get into this conversation that might just change the way you interact with the people you love.

    Ready? Let’s go! 🌸
