• Wasted Time
    Feb 11 2022

A huge lesson for me that I want to share with you is how precious time is. I spent a lot of time wandering about without any real aim in my life truthfully following the path that others had set out for me. But the problem was it was killing me. I longed for purpose and filled in the void with food, mindless TV surfing, and sex. In this episode, I share some lessons so hopefully, you don’t have to learn the hard way as I did.

  • My Definition of Intuition
    Feb 11 2022

I wanted to talk to you about your intuition. What does your intuition feel or look like?

Now, intuition by Webster's definition is the ability to understand something immediately, without the need for conscious reasoning; or a thing that one knows or considers likely from instinctive feeling rather than conscious reasoning.  But what does that really mean? How do we explain a knowing we just receive.  The study of intuition began over 20 years ago and has picked up in popularity in mainstream science which is amazing, but one thing is often a miss from the lab coat investigation of understanding, and that's the personal experience. I believe that we cannot talk about intuition without recognizing the truly personal and individual experience each of us has with it. As well as, without recognizing it as a means of communication.

Communicating what... you may ask... Well, that's where the studies and opinions differ.  However, one thing is certain regardless of what your intuition is telling you, people, who are using it tend to be happier and live fuller lives.

This week, we're diving into my definition of intuition. I'd love to hear how you define it, comment and let me know

    Scripture mentioned:

    John 15:1-17

    Higher Faculties of the Mind:

    Intuition

    Perception

    Reason

    Will

    Imagination

    Memory

  • Taking Responsibility with Rashida Ahmed Part 1
    Mar 17 2021

What is one of the hardest questions, you've had to ask yourself?

This week is featuring Rashida Ahmed and we're getting into how taking responsibility leads to peace and saying yes to yourself! Of course the lessons along the way!

Now, I've known this amazing woman my whole life lol she's my sister!   To me, she's always been the person that not only I can go to but so does everyone else for advice, knowledge, a shoulder to cry, or a snatch up! I remember when I was probably 11, so she was 16 when she told me she wanted to become a Gynecologist.. and my little mind was like ' uhh ok... cause I didn't understand the career but I knew she was super smart.' But what was apparent to me was her passion to help women understand their bodies and sexuality! Since then, she has counseled countless friends, and family, and myself!   I'm so proud to say now, Rashida Ahmed is a regionally recognized Sex Educator and Intimacy Coach, and the creator of the innovative program Reclaim Your Sovereignty, who has been helping to empower women all over the world to shed their sexual shame and embrace and increase their sexual pleasure and well being.   The women she works with are on the path of healing from sexual or relationship trauma as well as those who are interested in learning more about their bodies and increasing pleasure for themselves and/or their partner.   She has studied Psychology and Sexual Studies, has over 20 years of theoretical experience, and brings her wealth of knowledge and practical teaching style to her group classes and individual coaching sessions.   Each day she strives to continue to shine the light on black sexuality and to create positive and safe spaces for all womxn to connect and grow collectively to further impact our experiences and affect change for the generations to come.   This episode is part 1 of a deep dive on how taking responsibility for your life leads to peace and living your best life. As well as, the lessons along the way!    Connect with Rashda,  www.rashidaahmed.ca  Instagram: iamrashidaahmed      Don't forget to subscribe at www.rafiatahmed.ca to stay in the loop with all the scoop!        Sponsor: Fifi Glamour Beauty Coupon Code: FYFM  Instagram and Facebook: @FifiGlamour
