Trey (Early Riser) Free is a husband, father, retired special operations forces (SOF) operator, thru-hiker, author, and guide to those seeking to escape the Matrix. His first book, "It’s Time to Choose, Your Ego or You," revealed the driving force behind his search for the stillness we all have hiding deep inside. He exposed how dangerous and disrupting our egos prove to be in our lives and the realization that we must wake up or face a life plagued with self-induced misery and suffering. His passion to help guide others to the trailhead of self-awareness and stillness became the motivation behind Pushing North. In his newest book, "Pushing North: Tame the Mind, Savor the Journey," Trey reveals how our minds become the biggest obstacles in the path towards our goals. He uses his experience from his Appalachian Trail thru-hike and his 21 years operating at the highest levels of special operations to uncover tools that every human can use to overcome the mental chaos in their lives. It's the mental space that controls our direction forward, and Trey teaches us how to gain control over this space to gain momentum and find fulfillment in our lives.
