La Toya is an Author and Playwright. Her first published book, True Witness, is a compilation of short gospel plays from La Toya's time as Director of True Witness Drama Ministry, a ministry she headed at church. La Toya wrote, acted and directed skits for the ministry for nearly ten years. True Witness was published in 2016. Also in 2016, she published her first stage play, Awaken the Glory. In 2017, La Toya released Luci the Love Bug and Alice Leaves the Palace, her first two children's books. Her children's books are moral-based stories of imagination that she is proud to share with the world. Most significantly, La Toya is the mother of one son. Her drive and determination to rise to greatness has been fueled by the desire to establish a worthy example and legacy for him and her family. Raising My Manchild, Confronting the Taboo of Baby Mama Drama, her fourth title, is a testament to exactly that.
