Sanar Alixandyr's journey begins amidst the verdant landscapes of Washington State, where her childhood was filled with the melodies of life, a testament to her innate musical talent. From an early age, Sanar found solace and expression through music, becoming an active and vibrant presence in the local music scene. Her passion for the art led her to pursue a BA in Education from Eastern Washington University in Cheney, WA, where she initially embarked on a career teaching Elementary Music. However, Sanar's soul yearned for a broader stage upon which she could fully unleash her musical talents. Embracing her many talents as a freelance musician, director, composer, teacher, and actress, Sanar dedicated over 30 years to enriching the world with her artistry. Yet, beneath the surface of her creative endeavors, Sanar was in a silent battle with depression, eating disorders, and suicidal thoughts. In 1989, the whispers of PTSD began to surface, signaling the beginning of a deeply profound and transformative journey. With purpose and perseverance, Sanar embarked on a decade-long quest to heal her previously obscured past. Merging energy work with holistic modalities and cognitive therapy, she courageously delved into the depths of her being to unearth forgotten memories and forge a path to renewal. This extraordinary journey of self-discovery was not only a process of healing but a rebirth of spirit. Grateful for the trials and triumphs that shaped her journey, Sanar made the heartfelt decision to share her experiences with the world, hoping to inspire those who are navigating through or have traversed similar challenging paths. This book represents one of the many avenues through which Sanar has chosen to transform her traumatic past into an uplifting and inspiring message.
