After working his way through college and medical school as a professional magician and concert violinist, Dr. King practiced medicine for ten years as an otolaryngologist/head and neck surgeon in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Even as a surgeon in Oklahoma, Dr. King found time to compete in city-wide chess tournaments and participate in competitive ice dancing. Following his hands-on experience treating victims of the Oklahoma City Bombing in 1995, Dr. King changed careers and became an attorney. Dr. King focuses his transactional law practice in the fields of healthcare and entertainment. After recovering from a seven-month period of near-total blindness following bilateral retinal detachments in 2015, Dr. King began producing films and acting. Dr. King is the President and CEO of Mariposa King Studios and a partner in the Christian film distribution company, Kappa Distribution. At the time of this writing, he has produced twenty-four films and acted in over twenty-six, striving to deliver positive and inspirational messages that transcend culture, religion, and politics.
