Melanie Rossiter writes with heartfelt authenticity. She is an author on female empowerment and how you can advocate for yourself in a system that perpetuates inequality when it comes to women's health and the balance of power in the birth room. Melanie is an author, hypnobirthing practitioner and qualified teacher. She has trained with Suzanne Yates from Wellmother (wellmother.org) and Dani Diosi from Mama Serene (mamaserene.co.uk). She is also a maternity reflexologist and pregnancy massage therapist. Melanie combines her own experience and wisdom with her extensive training. She is passionate about birth rights and ensuring women have the knowledge and techniques necessary to empower themselves throughout their pregnancy, birth and beyond. The birth experiences of having her two sons inform her work and her first book Reclaiming Feminine Wisdom documents part of her own journey. She is fascinated by the scientific research that looks at the links between the mind, body, and physiological responses, and how this applies to childbirth.
