Matt Popovits is a writer, speaker, and pastor. Born in Flint, Michigan Matt now lives and works in Houston, Texas where he serves as Sr. Pastor of St. Mark Houston, a Lutheran church and school. Matt is also the founder of Make It Simple, a ministry that communicates life-changing truths in understandable ways and equips others to do the same. Matt is host of What Matters Most Radio and the popular podcast, Make It Simple. Matt's latest book is "Junk Drawer Jesus: Discarding Your Spiritual Clutter and Rediscovering the Supremacy of Grace" from 1517 Publishing. Matt and married to high school sweetheart Lisa and dad to Ava Elise and Jack Matthew.
