I’m Jennifer Roberts, a passionate advocate for the humane treatment of dogs, and an author dedicated to helping others care for abused and neglected animals. My journey with my rescue dog, BoBo, opened my eyes to the deep emotional scars that abused dogs carry and inspired me to share my experiences with others who are on a similar path. I’ve always had a love for animals, especially dogs. Growing up, I was surrounded by their companionship, and as an adult, I’ve had the privilege of raising both small and large breeds. My background in massage therapy and biology has given me a unique understanding of care and compassion, which I apply not just to animals but also to people in need. Between my full-time work as a rideshare driver and caring for my disabled father, I make it my mission to stand up for the less fortunate—whether human or animal. Through my writing, I hope to offer not only emotional support but also practical guidance to those caring for dogs that have experienced trauma. My books are a reflection of my love for writing, my personal experiences, and my desire to help others navigate the challenges and rewards of rescuing and caring for abused dogs. When I’m not writing or working, I enjoy reading, taking long drives for relaxation, and spending time with my beloved dog. My journey continues, and I remain committed to raising awareness about animal welfare and providing support to those who want to make a difference in the lives of dogs, just like BoBo.
