After graduating college with a BA in Communications, I lived and worked in New York City as an advertising television commercial producer with clients in high fashion and cosmetics. Where work and life was successful and exciting, I left my senior vp status after ten years and chose a life spent full-time raising my family back in my home town. As I embraced my role as mother and wife I also achieved a 500-hr yoga certification and spent time teaching studio group and private classes, hosting workshops and training others to become yoga teachers. Over this 20-year span I have written curriculum for yoga training programs including my own, and continue to teach students in advanced yoga philosophy and practices. Certified in the I Am YogaTM lineage, I became a Yoga Nidra facilitator going on to adapt my own guided meditation training including producing a series of eight recordings. I owned and operated a yoga studio in Cave Creek, Arizona, which I sold and then partnered again to create a wellness center in central Phoenix. While the challenge of running a yoga business can be fulfilling, my heart lies in teaching how the practice is applied in one’s everyday living. This passion led to my interest in sharing what I have learned and I have endeavored to write a series of short life guides exploring the dynamic of how those who choose to help others take care of themselves in the process. It is my honor to be able to share what I’ve learned through writing books, hosting workshops and focusing on creating opportunities to discover the true connection of who we are from a place of love.
