I was born in adverse poverty in Charleston, WVA. I married my husband at the age of 16 and had two wonderful sons who became successful business men. We have 7 grandchildren. I was stricken with a neuromuscular disease at the age of 40. My husband fell off a ladder and became paralyzed. I took care of him on my own until he passed away.
