I was born in Bollnäs, Sweden, in 1979. To be creative and paint is my authentic legacy. I grew up in the idyllic village of Stocksätter with creative materials all around me and the freedom to experiment and explore in any direction I wanted. My creative roots are deep and Life is my teacher. When I paint I mainly work with gauche, watercolour and ink on heavyweight paper. My inspiration comes from Womanhood, Swedish folklore and Nature. I work from our home in North Cornwall, UK. “Prusts Farmhouse” is my family’s life project. Here, I live creatively and remotely with my partner and our two kids. After an international career in Consumer Relationship Management and Market Research, I began showing my paintings to the public eye in 2020. My first published work as an author is “Stand tall through it all”, released in 2022 and based on my painting with the same name. www.prusts.com @art_at_prusts
