Alice Vincent is an author and broadcaster fascinated by the often-overlooked parts of life. Her books include the forthcoming Hark, How Women Listen. Her previous titles, Why Women Grow: Stories of Soil, Sisterhood and Survival and Rootbound, Rewilding a Life, were both longlisted for the Wainwright Prize and named as books of the year by the Financial Times, Independent, Stylist and others. A career journalist, she was a writer and editor on the arts desk of The Telegraph before joining Penguin as an editor. Now a columnist for The Guardian and the New Statesman, Alice also writes for titles including Vogue, The Financial Times, The Sunday Times and The Observer.
