And some gained abilities the school’s designers never intended - psychokinesis or the ability to move objects by mental power alone; levitation, which in practical terms, is the ability to fly; and much more. Much, much more.

Lost in Siberia, memory gone, what is the Esper called T to do? The time is 1919, late in the Russian revolution, and a few thousand members of the American Expeditionary Force have been sent to Russia. Their task is to hold the Trans-Siberian Railway open long enough for the allied Czech Legion to escape. Short handed, they're happy to enlist the ragged man who remembers his name started with a "T". The Army needs all the help it can get. They're scattered over a wide area and surrounded by enemies.

Is Magic real? And how is it different from paranormal abilities such as telepathy, psychokinetics, and levitation? T and the other espers have always insisted that their paranormal abilities are based on scientific fact. But how to explain what the group of women have done? And what of the "wizard" who wants to punish them? Is he real? Or simply deluded? Zombies? Ridiculous! Right?
