One day I walked into the kitchen where my mother was standing and said, "I want to go home." She shook her head, confused. "What do you mean? You are home." I repeated my solemn statement. "I want to go home." I didn't know what I meant any more than she did. All I knew was that the feeling had returned and was growing stronger - the feeling of emptiness, longing, and hunger. Something was calling to me.

There is more to us than what we see in the mirror, more than what we have been telling ourselves, and more than what others have told us. God will not be put into a box, love will not be put into a box, and I will not be put into a box! I have discovered that those who pursue life, liberty, and happiness in the truest sense can find it.

What was calling me was eternal. I had no words to describe it, but its draw on me was deep and ancient in ways I could not even begin to grasp, much less articulate. I wanted something more than the rituals, ceremonies, fancy robes, and lifelessly rote and memorized performances I witnessed in church each Sunday. I wanted something deeper and more heartfelt, something more real and alive with the Love of God I felt inside… and I found it! My life has been transformed by God’s Grace. I now experience richness, color, and depth of life and love I had not experienced before.
