The year is 1918 and the world is mired in the 'Great War.' Benjamin Kyner, a poor farmer from rural Pennsylvania who is reeling from a father's worst nightmare, discovers his son's fiancé, Eleanor, has given birth to their disabled child and has been disowned by her parents.

In the small town of Valley Drift, there's more than meets the eye as a darkness sets in. Sherriff Moon tries to do her duties to keep everyone calm as the devil starts to puppet the town's people. After the disruption and destruction of Valley Drift and the failure of Sherriff Moon's attempt to save the town as well as her own life, the grandson of the trying hero comes back to a town thought to have been destroyed for answers. All that is found are the demons of the town with explanations of horror.

He spends too much time fishing and trekking around Cape Hatteras Island. But when men in a black car show up and follow Ava, not only does handsome Mike Kelly get involved, but Ava’s older brother, Sheriff Martin Sinclair does as well.
