Story
A founding member of the Sin Vegas Union, Hector Contreras was a child when Earth was commandeered by the Lorians. Along with those left, he spent the next 50 years fighting their extraterrestrial adversaries. For his reward, Hector helped create one of the few overpopulated, advanced megacolonies left on the planet. Drained from decades of service to humanity and the loss of his wife, Hector now spends his remaining years with a new companion in relative peace. However, his peace comes at great cost.

Story
Three friends head out into the Alaska Bush to explore an abandoned gold mine. Their adventure turns into a nightmare when the old mine starts caving in. The story then goes back in time to earlier that same year in Anchorage, Alaska, where a young boy, Daniel, starts training one of his grandfather's homing pigeons to be in a race. He discovers that pigeons have special abilities and learns how they have been used in the past for communication. His pigeon, Streak, and Kayla, who gets lost while going for help, meet when they both take refuge under a big spruce tree during a storm.

Story
The land of Orijon has been ravaged by the selfish rule of the usurper king, Malos Tabis. Many have lost their homes, families, and the hope to live. But even the darkest night must yield to the spark of the dawn. A voice calls out to the true heir to the throne, Leonidas Orijonno, begging him to return. Leonidas led a simple life among the people of Sulson, the kingdom of the south. There he had grown up and learned their ways. What was he to Orijon? Often, he had dreamed of returning to the land of his father and freeing her people from the oppression they endured.
