في شقته الفارهة الواقعة في برج عالٍ من أبراج دبي الشاهقة التي تشبه قمم الجبال، حيث كلما كنت ناجحاً ارتفع موقعك على هذه الجبال، كان الدون/باولو ماتزيني أحد عناوين النجاح في عالم المال ورجال الأعمال. هو مالك هذا البرج الذي عندما صممه وبناه اختار أن يجلس على قمته ويمتلك الطابق الأخير كله كشقة كبيرة واحدة مع مَسْبح وجلسات خارجية وجهَّزه بأحدث وسائل الراحة والرفاهية، ولكن أهم ما كانت تحتويه هو التقنيات الإلكترونية العالية لنظام الاتصالات الدولي المرتبط مع قمر صناعي مملوك لأحد شركاته ليدير امبراطوريته المالية من هنا... كانت الشقة أشبه بقلعة محمية بأفضل التقنيات الخاصة لذلك وغير قابلة للاختراق..
