Based upon the book written by Deputy Scott Brown and Victoria Newman, Facing Evil : A Cop’s Story of Murder, Mayhem, and the Aftermath. Season One concentrates primarily on both the murder and the mayhem that took place in both Sacramento and Placer County California on October 24th, 2014.
