When America's number-one male jazz singer, Sid Satin, is found dead in his dressing room at the Pacific Coast Jazz Festival, police set their sights on Dee Jefferson. Casey moves her operation from San Francisco to New York to investigate the cold case. With no shortage of suspects, Casey ultimately uncovers evidence revealing a surprising killer.
