Many tragic and many glorious events took place in the period from the late 1800’s to the 1970’s. Wars were fought, lives were created and lost, and fortunes were made and lost. Some by the natural hand of fate and others by the schemes of bad people who cared little about the suffering they caused. But it was love that would eventually bring the lost back into the fold, erase the unearned sins of the innocent, and ultimately triumph over tragedy and loss.

Houston is a convoluted hell that Andrew Davis must escape from before it consumes him. He makes his way to West Texas and encounters a man named Jocko, who has, like Andrew, escaped a dark and painful past. Andrew soon discovers that Jocko is far from ordinary as they both are unwillingly thrust into a new version of reality. Confused, angry and desperate, Andrew's sanity is assured by an unbelievable, unlikely love affair.
