On Halo Nightly's eleventh birthday, her Aunt Pandora gives her a collection of jars filled with brightly colored candies. Soon she learns that the candies give her the incredible powers of nature. Halo uses the powers to combat Doozie Hiss, a rival student with superpowered hair.

It's the Festival of Pirates in Splottpool, and Limpet is looking after his evil little sister, Eve, whilst his mum helps out with the festival. Mrs Cricket has also asked the kids to mind the fairy garden in the middle of the roundabout while she goes away for a week - to avoid all the piratey chaos. Trouble is brewing as they discover Mr Fluffy's super-healthy sister has opened a smoothie palace, whose healthy fruit smoothies seem to have amazingly magical effects on the customers. But not all is as it seems with the super healthy smoothies and it's up to Limpet to save the day.

At Halo McNightly's school, the swimmers are disappearing from the boys' swim team. No one can figure it out, until Halo starts investigating. A deadly mermaid lives in a cave connected to the school swimming pool. Halo will have to use her special candy to turn into various underwater fauna, such as a hammerhead shark or an octopus, to defeat the hungry girl-fish!

The teacher, Mr. Slink, assigns an environmental project, and Halo Nightly pairs up with Flora, the school's resident treehugger. Their team has the assignment in the bag (reusable, of course). But when the evil Doozie Hiss ruins their chances for a good grade, Flora changes from happy hippie to eco-terror. With her superpowered candies, Halo faces off against the Green Queen of Mean!

A member of the Star Bus video game club is about to go where no geek has gone before...the school dance. Unfortunately, the galaxy's greatest comic book convention is the same night! Will this first mate ditch his date for his crew? Or will he voyage into the final frontier?

With the evil Echo around, Halo Nightly faces her strongest villain yet - herself. Echo is a sneaky shape shifter that morphs into Halo and causes her all sorts of problems. When Echo steals Halo's candy, Halo is forced to battle someone who is every bit as powerful as she is.

Limpet and his mum run an ice-cream shop, full of her favourite flavours: spaghetti ice cream, anyone? Terrific tomato and parsnip ice cream? But his mum's off for the weekend, leaving Limpet and his dad in charge. What could possibly go wrong? When Limpet finds himself in a giant cucumber costume, defending a fairy fort against a mysterious robber, he knows that things can't possibly get any worse. Can he catch the thief, save the ice cream shop and avoid the dastardly stink eye of Mr A Pigeon?
