Cedric was thrown away by his family on his 18th birthday because of his omega status. He isn't as strong or quick as other lion shifters, and was therefore seen as useless by his old pride. He may also bear children, which his family saw as a crime against nature. When he was cast out, he found a new family made up of a ragtag group of men who were all shunned by their old prides, but who loved each other fiercely.

Brooks - I’ve been coming to this little café every weekday for the past month, and everyday the same guy, Noah, takes my order. He always flirts with me, talks to me, and makes me feel like a million bucks. The problem? He’s in his mid-twenties, which is a baby compared to my 45 years. I’m a nervous person. I have panic attacks. I get so overwhelmed that my body rails against me; my breathing falters, my heart races, and my limbs go numb. So naturally, I thought it was a great idea to pop into a hardcore sex club. Okay, so that’s not exactly how it happened.
