Seven Little Australians is the story of the mischievous seven children of the Woolcot family - Meg, Pip, Judy, Bunty, Nell, Baby, and the General, whose father little understands them and whose young stepmother is hardly an adult herself. The Australian bush sets an iconic backdrop for the misadventures of this energetic mob.

Without doubt, Judy was the worst of the seven, probably because she was the cleverest. Judy's father, Captain Woolcot, found his vivacious, cheeky daughter impossible - but seven children were really too much for him, and most of the time they ran wild at their rambling riverside home, Misrule. Step inside and meet them all: dreamy Meg and Pip, daring Judy, naughty Bunty, Nell, Baby, and the youngest - 'the General'. Come and share in their lives, their laughter and their tears.

A word of warning - if you are expecting to listen to a story about model children, you'd better listen to something else. Not one of the seven children in this story is truly good - Australian children never are. The Woolcot children enjoy a life of fun and adventure in their rambling riverside home, despite frequent reprimands from their strict father, Captain Woolcot.
