Every small town has it's share of big, dark secrets, and the sleepy little town of Lobo, Texas, seems to be bursting at the seams. Who is the mysterious derelict the town Sheriff talks to down at the old train depot at night? What exactly are the old train cars filled with? What has the local biker gang suddenly gone missing? For the citizens of Lobo, these questions may be answered soon enough - and with terrifying clarity.

I walk through the door of my cabin to see Kyra is already there, waiting for me anxiously, some soft music playing on my ancient stereo. We begin slowly dancing, her long white gown blowing in the breeze coming through the windows. Suddenly, she disappears like a ghost - imagine that - and I look out to see two young boys lurking around outside, peeking at my windows, hoping to get a look at the crazy guy who lives there - the guy who plays with dead kids and dances with ghosts.

Luther Biggs was an amazing young man. But he was also birthed from tainted blood; Luther Biggs, Sr., a tall, powerfully built man with arms like 10-pound hams and the strength of an ox, was also prone to long alcoholic binges as well as bouts of extreme physical violence. Can Luther Jr. ever escape his past, get rid of his own inner demons, and live a happy life? Only time will tell, because the ghost of his dead father now seems to be haunting the local woods nearby, and his son may be the only one who can end his reign of terror before it's too late.

I believe, at times, a lot of people don't realize just how much pets can improve their lives. Pets make us laugh, make us feel better when we are sick or depressed. They make sure you are never lonely. They can even lower your stress levels, resulting in a lower risk of strokes, heart attacks, and other health problems. Having pets in the house also teaches your kids about responsibility, and gives them a forever friend that makes them feel safe and secure while their parents are at work.

I have always been a big fan of The Walking Dead, and I always wondered exactly what it was that caused the "zombie virus". The following story is based on my own version of what may have caused the virus, as well as what may have been a possible "cure" for the virus, if only temporary. There are many dark secrets in this post apocalyptic world I have created, and one of the darkest secrets of all was right under our protagonist's nose the whole time.

I have recently conducted a lot of research into why anyone would enjoy hurting animals, and the act itself has a specific term: zoo-sadism. The term stands for the act of deriving enjoyment from hurting animals, and below is a list of what these sick creeps enjoy doing: Neglecting them. Hoarding them. Shooting them. Beating them. Stabbing them. Mutilating them. Throwing them. Stomping on them. Burning them. Running over them with a car. Forcing them to act as “bait” animals for other animals to attack. It's time we fought back - and give these animals a voice again.

I know what a true travesty of justice is - from personal experience. In March of 2003, while still struggling with an alcohol addiction, I was arrested for a DUI - and my life was turned completely upside down for the next two and half years. You'd have thought I'd committed murder. Before I continue, please allow me to let the listener of this story know that yes, I fully understand the possible consequences of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. But in my case, nobody was hurt. Except me, that is.

Like the previous volumes, I'm sure there will be something in here for everybody. Whether it be a pleasant memory from your childhood or a sad memory that taught you a valuable lesson, or something funny to brighten up your gloomy day; I am pretty confident you will find it here.
