• Episode Nine. Joy is not made to be a crumb.
    Jul 19 2024

In this episode I mention a poem and I can't remember it's name or who wrote it... so I promised to leave the information here. It's called Don't Hesitate and it's by Mary Oliver.

"If you suddenly and unexpectedly feel joy, don't hesitate. Give in to it. There are plenty of lives and whole towns destroyed or about to be. We are not wise, and often not very kind. And much can never be redeemed. Still, life has some possibility left. Perhaps that is its way of fighting back, that sometimes something happens better than all the riches or power in the world. It could be anything, but very likely you notice it in the instant when love begins. Anyway, that's often the case. Anyway, whatever it is, don't be afraid of its plenty. Joy is not made to be a crumb."

  • Episode Eight. The Great Baked Potato Debate...
    May 15 2024

This episode was inspired by a question I received on Instagram... are baked potatoes 'bad' foods? Apparently some schools are now telling pupils to be mindful of the sugar content of the humble spud. Hopefully this mini episode sheds some sensible light on the subject!

Back from an incredibly long hiatus, this episode talks about the power of making decisions from a place of calm instead of a place of chaos.

I share some of the tools I use with clients who are struggling with disordered relationships with food and I discuss the power you can regain by giving yourself unconditional permission to eat.

If you enjoy this episode, please share with your friends and anyone you think could benefit from some Fearless in their life!

    Jul 11 2023

If you increase your training load, your body will want you to increase your fuel consumption. Increased hunger in response to an increased training load is a symptom of a body functioning well. So why do we feel the need to fight our body's perfectly natural response? To pile shame onto ourselves when we are unable to stick to our lower calorie diet? Have a listen to this episode and give yourself a little grace..

  • Episode Five. The Love Deficit.
    May 18 2023

Human beings want to be comfortable. We want our needs to be met. This episode talks about how important it is to recognise when your basic needs aren't being met and how you can improve the situation. I talk about what you can do to make your environment better support your goals. How you can give yourself the best chance of succeeding.

I'm nervous about this episode. It's very personal and much less science based. But it's a really important topic and I don't want to shy away from it. I hope you enjoy it.
