Hablamos con Daniela Arroyo quien fue candidata al Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2023. Sin embargo, su trayectoria en los certámenes de belleza se remonta al 2019 cuando audicionó para el mismo certamen. En el 2023 hizo historia al convertirse en la primera participante transgénero en la historia del concurso puertorriqueño. Hablamos sobre su evolución, el pedir perdón y el saber perdonar, cómo lidiar con el rechazo y que le depara en un futuro muy cercano.

Detrás de cada triunfo existe un ejército de personas que impulsaron, influenciaron y creyeron en una determinada persona o proyecto. En los certámenes de belleza no es la excepción. Creemos poder alcanzar mucho como individuos pero cuando se cuenta con el equipo correcto, podemos alcanzar el universo. Si bien el esfuerzo, la dedicación y la disciplina son importantes, yo diría que tiene la misma importancia rodearse de las personas adecuadas que te llevarán a tu próximo nivel, esas que te darán las herramientas necesarias para sacar el poder que vive en ti. Valeria Vázquez is the director of Nuestra Belleza Puerto Rico, the Puerto Rican pageant responsible for assigning queens for the titles of Miss Grand Puerto Rico, Miss Supranational Puerto Rico, and Miss International Puerto Rico. The one and only Puerto Rican queen  who has won the title of Miss Supranational, sits down to talk about the pressure of carrying an international title, the "oh shit" moments during the pageant, the power of the right support system, and the struggle of keeping it real in social media.
