The sound of bagpipe music is the air...as well as cry babies.

  • Summary

  • Ted keeps trying to do a podcast. What kind of show is this? Ted decides it is a variety show, like the Muppet Show of the 1980s. Meanwhile, back at the ranch the war against the yellowjackets continues. But their time is limited as winter is not that far away. Yes, even in August North Idahoans are thinking about winter. While winter is in the future, Ted treats us to a history lesson. This past weekend was the First Annual (we hope) Bruce Festival. The Bruce was King of Scotland in the early 1300s who won his country's independence from England, after being inspired by William Wallace. Sound familiar? Think Mel Gibson and the movie Braveheart. Bonners Ferry celebrated the Scottish and Irish heritage this past weekend with music and booths and crafts. But, sadly, no jousting. Maybe next year! Ted hopes you enjoy the bagpipe song he kind of recorded at the festival. This week is the Democrat Convention in Chicago. Ted shares his confused thoughts. College football soon kicks off and Ted is all excited about the new season and the new playoff format. It is hard for Ted to sleep at nights now as he is reading the very troubling book, Nuclear War. Ted finds some comfort in an inspirational devotion he shares. And finally, Ted is offering a gift card promotion. Send him an email about the show and, if he airs it, you will get a free gift card! Ted just keeps on trying...
