Weight Watchers is a well-known program designed to help people lose weight. However, some dentists have their own “losing” program called “Wait Watchers.” These are dentists who see patients with significant oral health problems, and they suggest “waiting and watching” to see what happens. Maybe it’s because they aren’t confident in their clinical skills. Maybe insurance is dictating too much, or perhaps it’s because they can’t get their patients to agree to comprehensive treatment.
