• When Choosing Abortion Leads to Generational Womb Healing
    Nov 1 2024

037: This week we have a beautiful and fascinating personal history to unwind with my dear friend Kate. She is one of many women I know who has experienced an abortion in this lifetime. She is also someone who registered this experience very differently than most - including the women in her maternal lineage. To her, this wasn't traumatic and was well integrated over time. In this episode, we dive SO deeply into this vulnerable topic in the hopes to liberate others and to share what is possible when women make their bodies' wellbeing a priority.

  • How to Awaken Your V: Vulva, Voice, and Vagus Nerve with Mary Catherine Shurett
    Jul 12 2024

032: Mary Catherine Shurett lights us up with her depth and understanding of a woman's body in this episode as a seasoned feminine embodiment guide, ceremonial facilitator, author of the book “Home”, and creator of the Feminine Embodiment Practice, “V.”. Through feminine frameworks and nurturing immersive containers, Mary Catherine guides people to lovingly and effectively strip away societal masks and religious programming, establish a profound connection with Love and reconnect with the instinctual nature of their animal bodies. At the heart of Mary Catherine's offerings is her signature movement method, "V.," a somatic-based practice tailored for women seeking more depth from their movement experience. This unique practice utilizes primal movement, sound, and vocal toning to seamlessly link and affirm the connection between women's pelvic floors to their voices - a big reason Brittney and her appreciate each other's work. Listen up for some beautiful and impactful insights on the power of movement, toning, and breath as prayer, as well as cervical wand work! Everything is connected, and you'll likely feel the urge to move, touch, and be with your V by the end of it.

Cassie Krajewski is the founder of Inner Atlas Therapy and co-founder of Center for Embodiment in Denver, CO. As a licensed clinical social worker, certified sex therapist, educator, and consultant, Cassie seeks to support people in connecting with their body's inherent wisdom, inhabiting their bodies more fully, and experiencing body liberation.

Cassie is skilled at using a wide variety of therapeutic approaches, including EMDR, attachment work and depth-oriented psychotherapy, IFS and parts work, emotion-focused therapy, various trauma and body-based therapies, feminist approaches to mental health and therapy, mindfulness, inner child and parts work, and meaning and insight based therapies. In this episode, you'll hear insights and concepts you may haven't even considered being connected (sex and food?!), juicy homework (or should we say homePLAY), and an invitation to expand your capacity for ALL of the emotions life has to offer us as humans.
