  • 278. नये खिलौने (New Toys), with Peter Lalor and Gideon Haigh
    Nov 12 2024

In the absence of someone stripping down, donning Doc Martens and "bashing the door down", Australia selects a new toy in Nathan McSweeney. Can this sea turtle make it to water? The openers lobby is aghast, but what's the alternative? Elsewhere, 2s-3s didn't just lose to Pakistan, they were chested on their own turf. The format, therefore, is clearly dead. Cricket et al's Pete Lalor and Gideon Haigh join us for an in-depth chat on the state of media and the state of cricket, before we return with Lizelle Lee heroics and WBBL foot stuff. AskTGC is the typical maelstrom of witty sickos.

Sign up to Cricket et al to read Gideon, Pete and Pez for the best BGT print coverage you'll get this summer.

The Highlight of being an Aussie Cricket fan atm

These fellas are very funny especially when Australia are doing bad. They are also a great way to keep up with the Cricketing world.

Must listen for cricket tragics

These guys are funny. Yep just like hanging with your mates at the pub. But wait, now they have quality international guests and turns out they're pretty great at interviewing. Love hearing the yarns and the behind the scenes, back stories from the players who are totally at ease. And unlike your mates, they're consistent, quality material (they must do a tonne of homework). All from two blokes who "didn't make it" but appear to be living the dream with fam following all over the cricketing world. Kudos Pez and Higgos.
