    The Canes came back home and continued to play good hockey. Rantanen got his first goal as a Cane! Ryan Suzuki played his first NHL game. Aho and Hall missed the game due to illness. Freddy got a silver stick for 500 games played. It was a lot.

    The Canes got two first period goals in a fairly defensive game, but the Islanders would slowly crawl back to win in overtime.
