  • In today's episode, Emily will be interviewing Lianna Purjes, LCSW & Empowerment Coach. Lianna specializes in helping individuals, couples, and families overcome trauma, addiction, and relationship issues. She has over 15 years of experience in the field and today she's going to be talking about how addiction impacts the entire family unit and how crucial it is to seek outside support. She shares her personal experience growing up with a mother who was an alcoholic and how therapy changed her life. We also discuss the stigma of addiction and what it looks like from a clinical perspective.

    Lianna Purjes, LCSW is a therapist and coach helping individuals and couples overcome trauma, addiction, and/or issues related to neurodivergence. Lianna has Masters degrees in Clinical Social Work and Education and over 15 years of experience helping clients improve their lives and relationships. When not working, Lianna enjoys reading, hanging out with her husband and dog, enjoying good meals with friends, and singing at the barbershop.
