The Hillties  (Craig Beauchamp & Sam Matthews)

The Hillties are a 6 piece funk/rock/reggae/jam band from Nelson BC.  They are about to release their new album titled Sunshine on April 20.  To celebrate the release of the album there was a tour booked across British Columbia and Alberta, but in the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic, the tour has been cancelled.
I spoke with Craig Beauchamp (Ukulele) and Sam Matthews (Guitar) in February as plans for the tour were being confirmed and final preparations were being made for the albums release.
We also caught up for a follow up conversation after many of he tour dates were cancelled to chat about the new strategy for releasing the album and what the future looks like,
