Professor Michael Townsley is a criminologist with a prominent career in crime prevention research. His groundbreaking PhD work illuminated the contagious nature of burglary risk, significantly influencing the field of spatial criminology. As the former head of the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Griffith University, Michael’s expertise encompasses crime analysis and retail crime prevention, and of course he is our resident academic at the Profit Protection Future Forum.
