We are back after a long break working on the print magazine. We promise Snowboard Mag's Mark My Bird podcast is here to stay and won't go on another break until the winter is over. Our guest to launch off the early season is up-and-coming Burton team rider Rob Roethler. He talks how he got started at the professional level (with a little help from Tik Tok), Minnesota sports, golf and plenty more with hosts T. Bird and Mark Clavin.

This is why we do this podcast! One quick text from a friend saying they are down and next thing you know, we have an episode. A rising star in snowboarding and ripping piano player, Lolo Derminio aka the future lady John Daly, joins Clavin and T. Bird to chat the past year filming, pseudonyms, golf/PGA aspirations, coming from a big family, and plenty more. It is our 10th "podcast attempt" and it is a good one! A special episode with the voice of snowboarding, Todd Richards, to discuss the recent announcement of Shaun White's Snow League and the X Games League. As Todd puts it, going from no contests on the horizon to a ton, this is all going to get very interesting. Todd joins Mark Clavin and T. Bird to clarify some of the questions surrounding the new leagues, as well as talk potential impact for riders, fans and more. Will we finally have a mainstream tour that as snowboarders we can call our own? Only time will tell!
