  • Episode 07: The process - Unfiltered
    Aug 24 2023

Trauma is inevitable. It is a part of the human experience. Knowing how to work with trauma is the most essential life and business skill and your greatest tool is your voice.

In this episode, I share with you an unedited recording of the process I am using to heal my own trauma and reclaim the power of my voice.

In preparation for sharing my personal story of my relationship with my husband who was sentenced to life in prison at the age of 15 yo, I record my thoughts, feelings and my 'Why?'

Why share my story at all? What is the purpose of talking about trauma, incarceration, or our relationship?

What I hope you take away from this episode, more than the story itself, is that you are not alone. It's okay to show up unfiltered, raw, imperfect.

When you allow yourself to show up as you are, without judgment, and practice using your voice to talk about the things you are fearful of expressing, healing begins.

    Let's get into it.

  • Episode 05: A reintroduction to Dallis Luna
    Aug 8 2023

This episode is much more vulnerable and personal than most of you will be used to.

I am about to share with you three things that you likely do not know about me and you might be shocked to learn.

But, first, I want to tell you why I am sharing these personal and vulnerable parts of my life so publicly.

Like many of you, I am being called to live a more authentic and whole life. Something, I help my clients to do almost every day.

For a long time, I didn’t know how this would even be possible.

However, the separation of my personal and professional identities has been a source of significant internal conflict for me.

So much of who I am in my personal life deeply influences the work that I do with my clients and keeping it hidden has never felt congruent or aligned with my philosophy on healing.

To tie this all together, there are just a few key takeaways that I hope you will take from my experiences and this podcast.

    • We are all worthy of love regardless of our past traumas, mistakes and experiences.
    • Soulmate love does exist although it doesn’t always look like the fairytales we’ve been sold.
    • Our body and mind know when we’re not being authentic or true to ourselves and it manifests in our physical, emotional and mental health.
    • I don’t have it all figured out but I know that trying to keep my personal and professional identities separate is no longer serving my highest good or my clients.

    With love and courage,

    Dallis

If you felt touched by this episode and want to hear more about my personal experiences and life outside of the therapy room, leave me a comment or send me a message.

We can all use a little more connection and encouragement!
