  • “Mujeres Aguas Arriba” (Women Upstream) is made possible through the collaboration of Latitud R, the governments of Latin America and the Caribbean, the Spanish cooperation via the Cooperation Fund for Water and Sanitation (FCAS), and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). These organizations work together to effectively ensure human rights regarding water and sanitation in the region, with a particular focus on the most disadvantaged rural populations. Other gender equality initiatives are also developed, and integrated water resource management is encouraged
