  • As with most behaviors, our relationship to asking for support was conditioned from an early age. Many people find asking for support vulnerable, and they often avoid the discomfort of asking. On the other hand, many people are masters at giving support. Interestingly, giving support without equally asking for support is not sustainable and eventually depletes well-being.
