Oh Love,

This is when I call you...

...when the noise and crisis spreads...

...the numbness, the anger, and wretched world between us.

And such golden moments after it has all passed, and your exhortations of gratitude to rewrite, rewire your lovingness.

You say you have found a new power within yourself- and self-indulgence, frantic gratification does not now satisfy. Now it seems so juvenile.

I let these words sink in as you hold me and the sobs and anguish of thousands of years- the lies we buy and got to inherit.

(No, my precious fingers were not made to be an object of selfishness. I feel the weight and souls dying in grief, asking for recompense.)

Oh Love,

You have held me through my tears. You have shed them as you felt my body and soul shake. You have felt errors in the old ways. And after both our tears feed us...

...this is when I call you.

This is when I call to you.

Last night, my mind and emotions unsettled,

now, All the noise and crisis settled.

My heart and body ready to be known.

The flowing love of my nature.

Come touch - Let us play freely.

When I love you, my heart opens wider than all the oceans of the world. 

Hoping to find your ship within it. 

And wherever that is...she will call it home. 

So loud, So still... 

...the waiting.  

So loud, So still...  

...your presence. 

It's as if it's yelling through millions of lives, a million years. Beyond years. How can it not be so evident? Even with you standing there making jokes about everything, you are making jokes about nothing. 

Awe!   

It's so loud, So still. 

Even as you Rage Against what you've thought and what you want things to be. 

So loud, So still.  

This attempt to be together on either side, the seesaw swings. All here...and nothing missing.  

From each side. Oh, I see you on the other. Oh, I see the other.  

Awe, such space. Such space, such wide space.  

How can these words come together... So loud, So still.  

So loud, So still this.  

This is the delight of you.  

So loud,... Let our lips meet. 

I pause to question 

 if I've done you right. 

If the words I somehow felt 

didn't land right. 

If the words that I withheld and couldn't say 

somehow arrived within you on another day. 

That the eternal round of all that is 

somehow got to meet you deep within this, this loving endeavor. 

That when you leaped from the falls into the icy waters below 

your heart was met and the crash was a welcome. 

And now you know 

all that is felt in love and war is still the same. 

And even when we battle 

We can return and see it in love again. 

I pause a moment wondering when. 

When will I return 

and see you again?

Dear Lover, 

I sat this morning with you. 

 A nice warm cup of tea 

And your music slowly greeting me.  

The light from the window cascaded in 

and crystal rainbows danced on my skin.  

And with every sip my longing was renewed... 

... and met.  

You are the Rose in my ceremony.  

The words that couldn't come through.  

And now, I am sitting here as you play me softly.  

I am in awe.  

There is nothing more for me to do.
