  • How LeBron James to Philly Impacts the Detroit Pistons and Their Season Ticket Holders
    Jul 29 2026

We have to talk about the biggest news in the NBA: LeBron James is officially a Philadelphia 76er.

First things first—LeBron really had to drop this massive announcement while I was driving? The timing could not have been more annoying. But now that it's official, I'm breaking down why this confirms my theory: if he wasn't going back to Cleveland, he was always going to sign on for two more years. We dive into why Philly is the absolute perfect landing spot for him to chase another ring, and how the dynamic shifts with him stepping in as the fourth option on this loaded roster.

Then, we get into the local impact. As a Pistons season ticket holder, this changes the game. When LeBron was out West, his one trip to LCA made that ticket incredibly valuable. Now he's coming to Detroit twice a year, which completely shifts the ticket market. More importantly, having LeBron back in the East means the Pistons have to battle him four times a season. The East just got even tougher, and it’s a glaring reminder of why Detroit needs to make a move to get better immediately.

Drop a comment with your thoughts on LeBron’s decision and what you think the Pistons need to do next to compete. Don't forget to like and subscribe for all things Detroit sports, WNBA, and boxing!

  • The TRUTH About Spence Jr. vs. Tszyu: Spence Should’ve Stayed Out of the Ring
    Jul 29 2026

Errol Spence Jr. just faced Tim Tszyu, and it was a tough night for boxing fans. In this video, I break down why I firmly believe "The Truth" should have hung up the gloves right after the Terence Crawford fight.

Going into this matchup, I was genuinely afraid of how he would look in the ring. When you combine two serious car accidents, major eye surgery for a detached retina, and 3 years of ring inactivity, the writing was on the wall. The human body can only take so much.

Make no mistake: Errol Spence Jr. is a guaranteed, absolute Hall of Famer who gave us some of the best welterweight fights of this generation. He has absolutely nothing left to prove. While it’s hard to watch a legend fade, I’m just glad he is finally accepting that his incredible career has come to an end.

Drop a comment below and let me know your thoughts on Spence’s legacy and his decision to finally call it a career.

  • Ways the Lions can motivate Jared Goff going into 2026 season
    Jun 5 2026

On paper, Goff's 2025 season looked elite— he threw for 4,564 yards and 34 touchdowns. But as we all know, stats don't tell the whole story. The Lions finished 9-8 and missed the playoffs, and we need to talk about why. We're breaking down what actually went wrong on the field. Was it the offensive coordinator? Was it the offensive line? Was it Goff himself?

We're also diving into the backup quarterback situation. I'm breaking down why the front office needs to bring in a legitimate QB2 to put some pressure on Goff and keep that competitive fire burning.

Lastly, we have a five-year hindsight review of the Matthew Stafford trade. How does that blockbuster deal look for Detroit right now?

Drop your thoughts in the comments—do you think the front office needs to bring in a backup QB to push Goff?

    May 25 2026

Jalen Duren just secured an All-NBA spot, but after a rough showing in the playoffs, the Detroit Pistons have a massive off-season dilemma. Should the front office hand him a max contract, or is it time to cut ties and let him walk?

In this episode of Buffed Up Sports, RJ Hunt breaks down the ultimate Jalen Duren debate. We’re getting into the grit of his recent performances, what the Pistons' next move should be, and the real question: Am I still a JD believer? Plus, we dive into the Dwight Howard comparisons—can Duren follow in Dwight's footsteps to completely dominate the paint, or is his ceiling lower than we thought?

    In this episode, we cover:

    • The All-NBA accolades vs. the playoff struggles
    • To pay or not to pay: Does he actually deserve the max?
    • My personal verdict and what I would do if I were in the front office

  • Should The Pistons Trade For A Future Hall Of Famer?
    May 25 2026

In today's video, we're talking about some wild hypothetical trades that could bring a guaranteed Hall of Famer straight to the Motor City. Should the Pistons push their chips to the middle of the table, or keep building through the draft?

We break down two massive blockbuster scenarios:

    • Kyrie Irving: We look at what it would cost to bring him to Detroit and if he's the veteran piece to elevate Cade Cunningham and our playoff ceiling.
    • Paul George: PG-13 is a proven bucket-getter, but is the price tag worth the risk for where the roster is right now?

I'm laying out all the pros and cons for both of these superstar trades, the impact they would have on the court, and most importantly... if I would actually pull the trigger and make these deals happen. You already know I'm keeping it 100% real.

Drop a comment down below and let me know: Would YOU make these trades? Who is the better fit, Kyrie or PG?
