• The Key to Unwinding
    Nov 18 2024

Discover Unwinding - the body's best kept secret to heal and transform. Unwinding is naturally orchestrated by the body's innate intelligence, once a person releases control of their body and energy. Unwinding is a self-healing flow-state that often involves the release of deeply held emotional and physical tensions stored in your body from experiences.

In episode 4, Jonathan offers you a series of intentional and restorative techniques, that will enable you to unlock your body’s natural capacity to Unwind.

The first step in the Unwinding process involves melting tension. By bringing awareness to areas of tension or discomfort, a person can consciously allow that tension to relax and discomfort to flow through them. Conscious relaxation is the initial step towards releasing body memory.

Step 2 involves spontaneous movement which plays a crucial role in Unwinding.

Spontaneous movement occurs when one allows their body to move naturally and freely, without preconceived patterns or restrictions. These free-form movements just happen when the body is relaxed and uncontrolled and ultimately help to facilitate the flow of bioenergy that leads to the release of body memory.

Intentional breathing is step 3 and a crucial element in the Unwinding process. By relaxing the diaphragm and taking deeper inhalations and exhalations, a person can enhance the flow of bioenergy and Unwinding.

The final component of Unwinding involves vocal expression. This step involves giving a voice to sensations of pain or pleasure during Unwinding movements. Sound is a primary pathway for release of bioenergy and facilitates a deeper connection to one’s inner experiences.

Through the practice of melting tension, spontaneous movement, intentional breathing, and vocalization, a person can access their innate ability to enter a natural, transformative process for self-healing.

  • Completing Suppressed Experiences
    Nov 11 2024

Consider the example of small children, who instinctively embody the flow-state referred to as "Unwinding," a state foreign to adults yet needed to be rediscovered on their journey toward healing from suppressed memories.

In episode 3, Jonathan describes Unwinding as a seamless integration of mind and body, where actions and emotions flow freely without the constraints of self-consciousness or internal resistance. Similar to way the younger version of ourselves moved through life. this self-healing flow-state called Unwinding allows us to process suppressed experiences out of the body and move through current experiences more effortlessly.

In episode 4 Unwinding is described as the body's primary means of liberating repressed memories and restoring harmony between mind, body, and spirit.
